We recently wrote about how we use Lego to manage projects at at Drew. If you'd like to make your own Lego project board you will need the following:

For the board

  • 4 x base boards (we use the big 48x48 size but a 32x32 will work too)
  • 8 x dividing strips (a flat 2x12 is good or any other flat will work)

For each project

  • 1 x 2×6 brick
  • 1 x 1×2 flat plate

For each work

  • 1 x mini-fig
  • 1 x 2×4 colour brick (key)
  • 5 x 1×4 colour bricks (marker)

For the card holder

  • 2 x 2×2 bricks
  • 1 x 2×4 brick
  • 1 x 2×12 flat
  • 1 x 2×8 flat

To make the cards

  • 1 pack of 2″ x 5″ index cards
  • A hole punch with an A5 punch guide
  • A printed and cut out copy of this PDF template

Let us know if you do this and how you find using it; we’d love to hear!
